IACTM: A Mint Result At Cheltenham

Published: Aug. 29, 2023, midnight

The Cobblers beat Cheltenham on Saturday to make it back to back wins for the first time this season. They left it late in their new “Electric Peppermint” 3rd kit, Sam Hoskins firing home the winner on 88 minutes. We’re looking back at that game, revelling in the type of football we’re playing and how well we’re doing it. There are question marks at the top end of the pitch though and we discuss Jon Brady’s decision to start Louis Appéré instead of Tyreece Simpson for the 1st time this season. We’re also looking ahead to the end of the transfer window on Friday. Should the Cobblers dip their toes in, where do we need to strengthen? We also discuss some of the rumours doing the rounds on social media too.  Plus we have a rather lovely email from a Cobblers fan who went to watch NTFC Women for the first time this weekend.
