100 Little Jonny Maxted’s

Published: Feb. 8, 2022, 1 a.m.

A week after our request for a new striker, Jon Brady has delivered with Louis Appéré scoring on his debut. A very happy quartet of Cobblers fans get together for some Northampton Town chat. With the Cobblers winning away at Walsall, Jefé tells us about her day at the Bescot and how she's found herself a fan. Danny thinks Louis Appéré is the nicest player in football and Jefé is very happy that Danny Rose didn't leave his place on the bench. We compare the Walsall and Barrow performances and ask if there was any improvement between the two or does the result paper over the cracks? Away from the win over Walsall, Danny has written a poem for Sam Hoskins' birthday and Neil upsets everyone by mentioning a story about daytime soap opera, Neighbours, being axed. Thanks to Jonathan Hillyer, Roz Spokes, Malcolm Butler and Matt Nikel for making Neil's Postbag bulge once more. Some great questions about returning players, playing 2 up front, football club songs and how the last 12 months have gone since Jon Brady took the helm. NTFC Women have won again (shock!) and are on for a league and cup double as they've reached the semi-finals of the League Cup. They beat Nottingham Forest's development side 2-0 on Sunday thanks to goals from Leah Cuddle and Alex Dicks. _________________________ Help us to keep making the podcast by signing up to the Fan Club on Patreon.
