No Shot is a Bad Shot with D.J. Irving

Former Boston University Point Guard D.J. Irving discusses growing up in Chester and what the game of basketball means to him. He also shares his experience of playing in the Philadelphia Catholic League as well as his journey to winning a State Championship. He describes what it was like to experience a coaching change at the college level and the effects it had on his career. D.J. grew curious and wondered if he would ever want to do something else besides playing basketball. After graduation, D.J. had an opportunity to begin his coaching career by becoming a Graduate Assistant at Penn State. He is currently the Head Freshman Basketball Coach at Roman Catholic High School as well as an assistant coach for varsity. He is focused on mentoring the youth, by giving them game on life through the game of basketball.
