Stevo Luddy on Growth from Pain

b'Stephen Ludwig has amassed over 4 million followers across all platforms. As a young inspirational speaker, he delivered his life story to various audiences through high school. After noticing the extreme growth of social media, he aimed to build a brand that would spread the message of positivity in ways that public speaking simply could not.\\n\\xa0\\nStevo had a number of amazing insights during our conversation. Some of them include:\\n\\u201cGrowing up, I needed some sort of person to idolize\\u201d (7:10).\\n\\u201cWhen you go through the motions of going in and out of the hospital, you lose a sense of who you are, and you need to find that person to look after. And Kobe was that guy\\u201d (7:35).\\n\\u201cIt was all about competition for me, and Kobe was competition\\u201d (9:45).\\n\\u201cI\\u2019m starting to realize that maybe I went too hard on occasion growing up\\u201d (12:55).\\n\\u201cGetting through college and seeing the world as a bigger place, I started to slow down and really start showing love and compassion instead of just competitiveness\\u201d (13:35).\\n\\u201cEvery single day I would try to find strength\\u201d (14:45).\\n\\u201cMy superpower is my self-confidence, my ability to just completely and 100% wholeheartedly understand myself and believe in myself\\u201d (16:50).\\n\\u201cIf you spend enough time lying in a hospital bed and starting at the clock, you start to learn who you are inside and out\\u201d (17:05).\\n\\u201cPeople can feel a confidence aura from you\\u201d (18:15).\\n\\u201cWe all experience life in a different vision\\u201d (20:40).\\n\\u201cI always wanted to be the person that could make everyone else laugh in the room\\u201d (28:20).\\n\\u201cI love my relationships with pain\\u201d (29:00).\\n\\u201cI always wanted to be a creative; and artist, of sorts\\u201d (34:00).\\n\\u201cI wanted to embody my own brand\\u201d (34:30).\\n\\u201cMy goal is to be an inspiration to as many people as I can\\u201d (35:45).\\n\\u201cIt\\u2019s absolutely incredible that I have the opportunity to reach 4 million people\\u201d (37:10).\\n\\u201cEvery conversation I have, I feel Iike I can learn something\\u201d (42:15).\\n\\u201cI\\u2019ve had to learn how to accept [anxiety days]\\u201d (43:05).\\n\\u201cYour day-to-day life is completely in your control\\u201d (43:40).\\n\\u201cI enjoy moments more than planning for the future\\u201d (53:30).\\n\\u201cI\\u2019m basking in comfortability\\u201d (57:45).\\n\\u201cI enjoy being uncomfortable.
