INSiiGHTS has a topic targeting educating the listeners about the famous NAIA District 29. District 29 featured all the black colleges in one tournament to qualify to send the winner to the National Tournament. This tournament became the National Black College Championship Tournament. Hear “the Crew” talk about this historical event and the significance of this event held o the campus of Tennessee State University. NCCU graduate Sam Jones of the Boston Celtics participated in the historic event and is interviewed by INSiiGHTS host, Mickey Clayton. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (April 4) – INSiiGHTS, the brainchild of the visionary championship winning coach, Mickey Clayton, releases this weeks show entitled District 29, this Friday, April 4 at 7:00 p.m. ET on www.INSiiGHTS.com and iHeart Radio.

The Crew is reunited as they discuss the historical significance of this tournament that featured the top Black College Basketball teams as the winner advanced to the NAIA National Tournament. As Boston Celtic great Sam Jones said, “they really didn’t want us to play at all ...”

Tennessee State University hosted this event that also had a black high school national basketball tournament going on at the same time “with over 30 states represented”.
