A Sports Walk Thru The Black Archives
INSiiGHTS allows the listeners to hear the words of Dr. Murrell Dawson, Archivists and Curator of the Black Archives at Florida A&M University. Coach Mickey Clayton, interviewed Dr. Dawson and one of her students as they took a stroll through the Black Archives on the campus of Florida A&M University. Dr. Dawson provides INSiiGHTS into the significance of sports within a race that has many untold stories.
She discusses the significance of Black History Month and what that means to her. Dr. Dawson talks about how information is gathered and the many calls that come seeking information on past achievements.
