In this podcast, Green Berets, D & J explain how an Army PFC changed the course of an entire war when he walked off his firebase and became a guest of the Taliban. No, we are not interviewing Bergdahl, but we will tell you what happened immediately after he abandoned his post and how this still affects unconventional soldiers today.  As always we recommend you do not believe the narratives that are out there in the media about this case. We share our experiences and thoughts on the events, the politics, and the impact from the moment Bergdahl was declared DUSTWUN (Duty Status – Whereabouts Unknown).

Like most things, this issue is not a cut and dry situation.  Was there a good reason why the President and congress treated Bergdahl as a POW hero and not the deserter we all knew he was? How did the Taliban out-fox the most powerful nation in the world with an E-3 Private from Idaho?  What residual effects from the Bergdahl debacle plague the military today?  Why is it important for citizens to gain a proper perspective on this highly politicized and public affair?  All great questions…listen to the episode to find out!
