S1 Ep48: Inside... Jonathan Greening

Former professional footballer, Jonathan Greening, sat down with Inside the Beautiful Game to discuss his time spent in football, from YTS with York City all the way to Barcelona's Camp Nou in the Champions League final and more.

Born in Scarborough, Jonathan Greening went on to have a professional career that spanned three decades, beginning with York City before he was signed by Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United with whom he won the Champions League as a non-playing substitute at the Camp Nou in 1999. Greening also represented Middlesbrough but spent the longest spell of his career with West Brom where he was part of the club’s famous great escape. He also was part of the Fulham squad that reached the Europa League final, beating the mighty Juventus en route.
