Blaine McKenna, globetrotting football coach from Northern Ireland chats to Inside the Beautiful Game about his journey.
An aspiring footballer in his youth, an injury setback saw Blaine opt to pursue coaching as a way of making a career in football and he hasn't looked back. A holder of a UEFA A Licence, Blaine has coached in America, Canada, Malawi and Singapore among others and had a spell as Academy Director at Ubon UMT United in Thailand.
On the pod, Blaine chats about the experiences he has had coaching football around the world, his time spent as Academy Director in Thailand, the lessons he's learned along the way and what he hopes to achieve in the future.
