David Preece, former professional goalkeeper turned coach, journalist and pundit chats to Inside the Beautiful Game.
Born in Sunderland, David began his career with his hometown club before going on to represent another seven clubs in England, Scotland, Denmark and Iceland. Across a 22-year career, he made almost 300 appearances before hanging up his gloves.
On the pod, David talks about working as a coach with Östersunds FK in Sweden, growing up always wanting to be a goalkeeper, dealing with injuries, what it's like playing at grounds such as Parkhead and Ibrox, and why goalkeepers tend not to become managers.
