Limiting our limits: The 1% Better Challenge

Published: Nov. 17, 2020, 7:11 p.m.

When you limit your limits, your potential knows no bounds. This is a lesson Chris Nikic, a 21-year-old athlete with Down Syndrome has learned over the past few years. Last week, he made history as the first person with Down Syndrome to complete and an Ironman Triathlon. He states that his mission in life is to inspire others, and that is what he is doing through his 1% Better Challenge, which asks participants to work for a 1% improvement each day. Imagine, if every day we tried to improve ourselves, how astronomically better we will become and how much better we can make the world.  ‘Inside Sources with Boyd Matheson,’ Opinion Editor at Deseret News, takes you inside the latest political news and current events, providing higher ground for today's discussions.
