American Family Survey: Politicians, listen to the American family

Published: Sept. 22, 2020, 6:10 p.m.

We are embedded in an election year where political pandering has increased to the point that many American households are tuning out of politics completely. Why? Because politicians and candidates are not focusing on the values and the principles we hold dear. There is a lot to discover in the new American Family Survey released today, and if Trump and Biden take note now, perhaps we can vote to create a better future. Deseret News reporter Lois Collins joins Boyd to discuss the balance of relationships in the pandemic in American homes and how the pandemic and loneliness epidemic is affecting those without one. And reporter Erica Evans asks if parents are more worried about their sons' or daughter's future success? ‘Inside Sources with Boyd Matheson,’ Opinion Editor at Deseret News, takes you inside the latest political news and current events, providing higher ground for today's discussions.
