First, we will hear from\\xa0Rachel Palmer\\xa0and her probation officer Gianna Griffin as they talk about the struggles Palmer faced going in and out of jail because of her mental health and substance abuse issues. Palmer is now going through the Day Reporting Center for her check-ins, having a much more positive\\xa0experience\\xa0than in the past. Later we hear from two officers from the Division of Parole and Probation who talk about the new approach the state is taking with the Day Reporting Center and the resources that are being offered there.
