Sunday, October 7th marked 17 years since the U.S. invaded Afghanistan, a move that has triggered years of combat, massive troop deployments and thousands of deaths in the Afghan War. Here in New York, protesters gathered at the Times Square military recruiting station to demand an end to this war. We talk to Susan Schnall who was among the protesters. She is the President of Veterans for Peace and a former navy nurse who was court martialed for anti-Vietnam War actions.
