The news has been dominated by upsetting stories of mass shootings and tragedies.  My hope with this podcast is not to have us ignore these stories, but to realize that even with all the bad there is so much good in the world.

\\n

In this week\'s episode of the In Happier News podcast, we have information on the healthiest way to react to anxiety-causing bad news, the story of a simple bench that restored a family\'s faith in humanity, how an act of kindness at an amusement park made all the difference, why pink seesaws are bringing people together, what to do with old mascara wands, an inspiring Netflix movie to check out and a BABY ANNOUNCEMENT!

\\n

Host Deanne Goodman scours the news each week to bring you the happy, inspiring and positive stories. It\'s the week of August 12th, here is episode 41\'s roundup of positive news and good stories in less than 10 minutes:
