The cast and crew of our second drama production of the term, Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard, join us for this podcast. Cast members Georgina Beedle and Alex James-Cox, Deputy Stage Manager Sissel Josefine and Audio Describer Ben Cook discuss how this adaptation by Tom Stoppard stands out from other adaptations of Chekhov's classic, the role of the Deputy Stage Manager in going from page to stage, and the Ben Cook talks about producing the first audio-described performance and touch tour for a production at Guildhall. The Cherry Orchard runs from 16-21 October in the Milton Court Theatre. Tickets are available from the Barbican Box Office (https://www.barbican.org.uk/whats-on/2017/event/guildhall-school-presents-chekhovs-the-cherry-orchard).
