A recent report published by Inc. Magazine contends that as many as 9 in 10 American workers may be currently considering looking elsewhere for employment.

Well, we’re going to go out on a limb and say this next job prospect might just be tantalizing enough to get the other ten percent…

That’s because McCormick, the brand that’s been gracing American spice racks since the late 1800s, has announced that it is looking to fill a specific role that we might all consider ourselves well qualified for: a Director of Taco Relations.

McCormick, who has long been a main player in the taco seasoning market, has determined to step up its game. The company hopes to hire a consultant of sorts to “work with the McCormick Kitchens team to develop innovative and delish taco recipes, travel across the country in search of the latest taco trends, dialogue with other like-minded taco connoisseurs across social media, and be in on the latest Street Taco seasoning mixes developed by the McCormick innovation lab.”

Delish was part of the quote. I didn’t improvise delish.

The role is short term, but comes with a generous compensation package: McCormick says it will pay $25,000 a month for what mostly amounts to remote work of about 20 hours per week for up to four months. That’s six figures for eating tacos, just to make sure we’re all paying attention here...

According to CNBC, McCormick is looking for someone with “a strong teamwork mentality, an interest in all things tacos and a keen eye for storytelling through video and social media.”

The deadline is TODAY, so if you feel you “eat tacos like it’s your true calling,” as McCormick is requesting, then you can submit a video that spends two minutes or less showcasing your personality and detailing your commitment to tacos.

I feel like I just did that.
