What defines each and every one of us, our un-chosen birth characteristics or our chosen decisions? Herein I consider the essentially retrogressive Feudalism inherent in the mania to pigeonhole everyone by the circumstances of their physical birth, and compare it to the Enlightenment and Judeo-Christian notion that we are our choices.
