b'Romanian MPs advised to remove a number of restrictive measures introduced by the government last year, which reversed the liberalisation of the gas market. If approved, the latest amendments may help to renew investors\\u2019 appetite to return in the Romanian upstream sector, although traders agree that in the short term the market may face turmoil particularly ahead of the upcoming winter. To add to the uncertainty, it is yet unknown whether Romania could secure more interconnection capacity as the gas grid operator Transgaz appears reluctant to sign critical agreements with neighbouring Ukraine.
