NYC to Remove Thomas Jefferson Statue

The New York City Public Design Commission voted unanimously to move a statue of Thomas Jefferson from City Hall. The 188 year old statue will be taken down from NYC's City Hall because "There are disturbing images of divisiveness and racism in our City that need to be revisited immediately."

The NYC commission says they're NOT waging a war on history.
