Living in the street

Published: Dec. 15, 2020, 4 a.m.

Many people wonder who are the homeless people, and how they became homeless?
Our knowledge comes from our family, friends, and the media who present the homeless as people who are living on the streets and are drug addicts, so we unconsciously have fear when we interact with such people that the news media “warns us” about.

But some homeless people are a victim of society, In fact, homelessness may happen to anyone, regardless of his color, or origin. Not even gender or age can save anyone from this crisis. Everyone could be the victim.

In this episode, I'll explore the factors that led people to lose their houses - and why it can happen to anyone? I'll also bring a different perspective of the people who're living in the street and share a story of a strong woman from Irvine who got off the street against all the odds.
