#HURDLEMOMENT: Running My Fastest Mile EVER, A Recap

5:56. FIVE FIFTY-SIX! I\'m still pinching myself. Last Friday, I ran a mile time trial with a friend with the goal to break 6:00. Well, I did it, and I have the Strava data to prove it. For #HURDLEMOMENT this week, I\'m chatting about why the mile distance means so much to me and all the details surrounding the build-up to this particular effort. I offer up my pre-race routine, talk about my strategy going in, share the hardest part of the entire shebang, and how the entire experiment made me feel. (FYI: Super emotional TBH.) A huge, huge thanks to my teammates at Brooklyn Track Club for supporting me on race day, and to the friends, family, and Hurdlers who reached out!
