Making Sense Of January 6th - UAlbany Discussion

On Tuesday, February 2nd, the University at Albany’s Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy hosted a virtual discussion entitled, “A Not So Peaceful Transition of Power: Making Sense of the January 6th Attack on the Capitol.” UAlbany faculty experts weighed in on the significance of the historic event and examined the short-term and long-term consequences. Hamm, Professor, History Moderated by: Julie Novkov, Professor and Collins Fellow, Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy Throughout the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election season, Rockefeller College hosted a series of online events, covering a range of topics impacting the election and future of the nation. With the January 6th attack, the series continued on February 2nd.
