Published: June 18, 2020, 4:13 p.m.

In our Throwback Thursday, we listen back to our conversations with Houston’s most iconic sportscasters. You’ll hear from 97.5 FM's Lance Zierlein, KHOU-TV Sports Anchor Matt Musil, KPRC-TV longtime Sports Director Craig Roberts and former KPRC Reporter and AT&T SportsNet studio host and sideline reporter Bart Enis. Zierlein tells Hosts Robert Land and R.G. Seal about his radio marriage with John Granato and about the changing sports talk landscape. Roberts has his encounters with Charles Barkley and Mickey Mantle. Plus, he explains the creation of the revolutionary 'KPRC Sports Sunday'. Enis remembers his father Bill, who covered sports at KPRC in the 60's and early 70's. Musil remembers coming to Houston during Luv Ya Blue and covering Phi Slama Jama, J.R. Richard and the Rockets great 80's teams.
