You Are Not Your Emotions

Morning Mantra: "Being positive doesn't mean you don't ever have negative thoughts. It means you are aware of them and don't let them control your life."
Sometimes I get push back from people that say it's impossible to always be positive. 
And I don't disagree.
Everyone will have a negative thought at some point.
Everyone can be in a bad mood.
Everyone has a right to throw a (short) pity party for themselves on occasion.
But what we all must strive to do is recognize those feelings.
See ourselves as the positive person experiencing a bad day, mood, or thought.
Don't let the emotion define you. 
Your feelings and behavior are not YOU.
You are always a beautiful, kind, loving soul.
