Feel All the Feels

Morning Mantra: "We cannot selectively numb emotions. When we numb the painful emotions, we also numb the positive emotions."
It doesn't have to be either happy or sad, happy or fear, happy or grief, happy or regret.
These are not separate from each other.  They can both exist in you at the same time.  
The not-so-great emotions need to be experienced, not ignored.  They need to be faced, moved through, and healed from. But at the same time, making space for happiness each day.
If you choose to ignore the tough feelings, they don't just disappear, the get buried and locked away.  They resurface whenever you are triggered.
It doesn't have to be either OR with happy, it should be AND happy.
