There is a difference between standing up for yourself and the need to always be right.
The difference is respect.
When someone disrespects you and your truth then you must address it. Whether that looks like confrontation, or letting go, is up to you.
If people get used to disrespecting you the more they will. So you must never get comfortable with disrespect.
Remember, disrespect is the weapon of the weak, so don't go there yourself. There is no reason to become disrespectful. Stand tall in your truth, light the match, and burn the bridge.
