Nashville Sounds pitcher Zac Curtis discusses the motivation behind his community service and charitable efforts.
Curtis, who is with his fourth MLB team in four seasons and spent part of 2018 with the Texas Rangers, said his childhood has greatly impacted the man he's become and is a big reason why he wants to give back to the community.
Curtis, a 2014 draft pick of the Arizona Diamondbacks, is a Middle Tennessee State alumnus – as is Tennessee Titans safety Kevin Byard, who is also heavily involved in community work.
