How to accurately bend the Goose Neck

Not the shepherds Hook!

In this episode I will teach you how to properly, measure, layout and bend a Goose Neck bend. Now let\'s not confuse the Goose Neck with a Shepherds Hook bend. The 2 are totally different bends. The last one is just an offset and 90 stub bent closely together. Now the Goose Neck is how you are suppose to get around the obstruction in play. Not to say that the shepherds hook is wrong or anything. I believe that through time the Goose neck was forgotten and the shepherds hook took it\'s place. Not too many people know how to properly bend the Goose Neck. Also want to mention that the Gooseneck is actually in the old books that were used in some NJATC training centers. So I know that it\'s an official bend not some bend that was just made up by someone. Anyhow, I hope you get something from the podcast.
