#16 Jodi's Trail Adjustments After a Baby

Published: Dec. 7, 2019, 4 p.m.

In this episode, we talk with Jodi. Hiking and backpacking was a big part of Jodi’s life before becoming a mom. She and her husband went on a handful of backpacking trips around the US and worldwide. They had the adventure bug and explored places that are probably on a lot of people’s bucket lists. She knew that she wanted to incorporate hiking into her life when she became a mom. When some unexpected life challenges were thrown at her family one month before she gave birth, it changed the dynamics of what trail life would look like for the family. We dive deep into what hiking was like for Jodi before motherhood, and what it’s like now with an almost 3-year-old. If you are a parent aspiring to get your child camping or o the trail and need some motivation to do so, this is the episode for you!
