Chicago, the home of the start of Route 66, began a shared scooter program on June 15th. This 21st century invention proposes to solve the last mile challenge for short trips. However, many other transportation promises have blown a tire on their way to heaven. Will this e-scooter pilot end in a stairway to heaven or a highway to hell?
