Jeanie Ives, a poor intern’s Michelle Bachmann, surprised the nation when she nearly knocked off a sitting governor in a primary challenge. The race turned into the usual brand of ugly, but something rather extraordinary happened: Ives refuses to call and congratulate Governor Rauner.
