Brickhouse Tavern Shady Deal
The Illinois Liquor Control Commission recently approved the Brickhouse Tavern, outside the walls of Wrigley Field, to use an exception to the prohibition era law that outlaws brewers advertising in tavern names. Hickory Street Capital, an investment arm of the low energy Cubs owners, again seems to have bullied the local politicians to make another grab of the cash in Wrigleyville. Why didn’t local alderman, Tom Tunney, do something to save the innocent Lakeview bro from being subjected to more unnecessary ABInBev advertising?
