A Conversation on the Future of Employer Reporting with P4ESC

NAHU is leading a coalition effort to advance bipartisan legislation through Congress that would provide for prospective employer reporting, greatly easing the compliance burden of the ACA for employers complying with the law’s mandate. On this week’s podcast episode, Executive Director of the Partnership for Employer-Sponsored Coverage Chris Pollack joins NAHU’s Vice President of Government Affairs Marcy M. Buckner and Vice President of Congressional Affairs Chris Hartmann to discuss the outlook for passing this legislation, either before the November elections or in the lame duck session. They also discuss the impact that local chapters and employers can have on the legislative process, as well as the coalition’s other legislative priorities, including the Bipartisan HSA Improvement Act, which NAHU strongly supports, and efforts to reduce the costs of prescription drugs.
