The Return of Intern Skippy!
Jack and Mike and here presenting an important Valentine’s Day edition of Hardly Focused! For the first time in nearly a decade, former show intern Joe “Skippy” Anders returns to the show. Longtime listeners from the Talk Radio Meltdown-era may remember Skippy as the kid who got in trouble during a bar event for being in the pub underage.
A fellow musician, Skippy discusses the COVID pandemic’s effect on the live music industry. Jack wonders if people will start buying albums again, since concerts are being sidelined indefinitely. He also argues that bands who currently live stream their shows need to back them with gimmicks, else fans won’t pay to watch.
