Over one-third of young adults were highly stressed during the pandemic, with anxiety and depression rates significantly higher among those aged 18 to 39 compared to those over 40. The study revealed that 40 percent of young adults had anxiety, and 33 percent had depression, compared to 31 percent and 24 percent, respectively, for those over 40. Economic precarity and responses to social upheaval were identified as factors contributing to young adults\' worse mental well-being.

\\nA study by Stanford University found that adopting a vegan diet for eight weeks significantly improved heart health, with the most substantial changes occurring in the first four weeks. Vegan participants experienced a 20 percent drop in fasting insulin, reducing diabetes risk, and lost an average of 4.2 pounds more than omnivores.
