As 600 Málaga fans headed to Antequera to watch Málaga triumph in the derby, Matt boarded a plane and headed north to Bilbao to take in a footballing double-header in the Basque Country. Sunday evening saw him head to San Mamés for Athletic v Valencia, but of course, the main event of the trip was found 6.5km north in Barakaldo, where Matt went to watch Málaga progress in the Copa after a penalty shootout win v Barakaldo.
