TW: discussion of pregnancy, abortion, rape and incest in light of the recent Supreme Court overturning of Roe v Wade
\n
\nIn this week's episode we're discussing the recent events in the US where the Supreme Court ruling overturned Roe v Wade, removing a woman's right to access an abortion. We're also discussing the bigger picture of feminism, being a 'bad feminist' and why there can be no perfect, single version of feminism because there is no universal experience for women. If we all get caught up nitpicking the minutiae of whether it's "feminist" to watch SATC or to enjoy wearing make-up, we miss the bigger opportunity to come together to support the fundamental right for equality and a woman's right to choose.
\n
\nFeminism can be the version that's right for you, but it has to mean supporting all women in the choices they make about their own life, even if you wouldn't make that choice yourself.
