How To Really Rest

Do you find it hard to get adequate rest? Maybe it\'s because you "don\'t have time" or perhaps you try to rest and end up feeling guilty the whole time. If that sounds like you and you\'re ready to actually feel rejuvenated, then this episode is for you.

  • Being intentional with your rest time, a great way to get into the relaxation zone is to create a ritual that gets you in the mood.
  • Put down your phone, social media or tv can be a great distraction but it\'s important to give your brain a break too.
  • Get in touch with your senses so you\'re present in the moment.\\xa0
  • Clear your head before you rest. Write down your to do list, schedule out your week, write down what\'s stressing you and then forget about it knowing that it\'ll all be there ready to go when you\'re ready to jump back into life.
  • Change your mindset about rest, it doesn\'t have to look a certain way, do whatever works for you and most importantly remember to do it often because you don\'t have to earn it.
