Yesterday, a man in Ohio was burned and taken for psychological evaluation as he made what was thought to be a small nuclear reactor. In 1994, a teenager gained some notoriety for attempting to build a homemade breeder nuclear reactor for a Boy Scout project - it blew up and he was injured.
