Philip Kyeremanteng joined me on the podcast to share his experience on how he got to where he is as an Environment Risk Lead at Canal and River Trust in the UK. He also shared the decisions he had to make to clear his path and tips on how to prepare yourself as a student for the industry.
Philip is an Environmental scientist with experience in environmental assurance and protection, solid waste and resource management, water quality monitoring and ISO 14001 & ISO 9001 implementation, and environmental and social impact assessment. Have broad and in-depth knowledge of international environmental legislation compliance for the natural and built environmental sector. Subject Matter Expert in Marine Licence application and management, Surface water, effluent discharge and landfill leachate management, Planning applications, Water quality monitoring, Flood risk management, Environment technologies, Environment and Social Impact Assessment, Dredging and Contaminated lands risk management, Pollution Incidence response, Solid and Hazardous waste management, Environmental permitting regulation.
