Recycling incentives & waste recycling businesses | Zoë Lenkiewicz
Zoe Lenkiewicz joined me on the Green Living Chats podcast to discuss her projects with WasteAid in Recycling incentives & waste recycling businesses across the globe, especially in Asia and Africa. We discussed how far these jobs and incentives contribute to environmental protection and sustainability, the challenges and how their "WasteAid toolkit Making Waste Work" works.
Zoe has over 20 years of experience developing and implementing sustainable waste management and circular economy initiatives within government, businesses and civil society. She is the driving force at WasteAid to attract international attention to the power of waste management for global development. Growing WasteAid from the ground up, she combines scientific, creative and leadership skills with strategic waste management expertise and also the chief author for the award-winning WasteAid toolkit Making Waste Work. She joined the CSC Global Leaders alumnus and was named a "Woman of Influence" by The Planner and "100 Women Creating a Better Africa", a Chatham House Common Futures speaker and judge in the 2020 Africa Green Grants Awards.
