What Makes Gulf Coast Charter Academy South a Good Neighbor...

Gulf Coast Charter Academy South (GCCAS) is a STEM (Science Technology, Engineering, and Math) charter school established in 2013 and currently serves students in grades K-8 with an enrollment of 620 students. GCCAS employs 52 staff members which includes an Executive Director, Principal, Assistant Principal, Curriculum Coach, Guidance counselor, ESE teachers, ELL Tutors, and Education Specialists. Our students receive a hands-on education model that connects their learning to the real world through a series of explorations, project-based learning activities, and field experiences.

The Mission of Gulf Coast Charter Academy South is to foster pride in academic achievement for all students, coupled with a concerted effort focused on the ELL (English Language Learner) population, through STEM learning opportunities, resulting in higher student learning outcomes, concurrently with teaching lifelong fitness and developing the students\\u2019 creative ability. We strive to provide the students with an environment to learn and be successful in a safe and orderly school.
