We spoke about an unfortunate story involving a former Amazon employee. She now has bulging discs, and suffers from constant pain due to the constant stream of work required by Amazon. Her Job description? Pick up boxes and put them on a shelf. Of course, some of those boxes were heavy. Quick question: Can you blame the business if someone takes a job that knowingly requires the lifting of heavy boxes, and they end up with a bad back? For that matter, could you demonize construction managers because their drywall hangers suffer from back pain later in life? How about someone that runs a coal mine? Of course not.
