Relatively Speaking Podcast Episode 111

??Despite NFL preseason takes, Connor McGregor looking better than anyone could have realistically expected this weekend against Floyd Mayweather, and the beginning of the home stretch of MLB madness, the Relatively Speaking Podcast had big NBA news to breakdown this week. It's crazy that in a summer that's seen All-Stars Chris Paul, Paul George, and Jimmy Butler get traded, the BIGGEST summer blockbuster trade took place just last week, with the summer winding down. The Cleveland Cavaliers granted Kyrie Irving's trade request, and sent the four time All-Star to conference rival Boston for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, the Brooklyn Nets first round pick in 2018, and 2016 first round pick Ante Zizic. To help Jared discuss this mega deal, he enlisted the help of Justin Rowan, host of the The Chase Down podcast with Carter Rodriguez, and contributor for SB Nation Cav's blog Fear The Sword. Jared asks Justin how the Kyrie trade impacted him both as an objective NBA observer, as well as someone with vested interest in the Cavaliers. The two also discuss the bridging of the gap between Cleveland and Boston in the Eastern Conference, expectations for this year's Cavs team without Irving, and what the future has in store for LeBron James and his hometown team. If you aren't doing so already, Justin is a must follow on Twitter, where when he isn't talking Cavs/NBA, he's going viral for his hilarious tweets. Follow him at @Cavsanada, and catch his Cavs' columns at SB Nation's Fear the Sword.
