Relatively Speaking Podcast: College basketball is finally here

Published: Nov. 14, 2016, 8:20 p.m.

The long awaited edition of the Relatively Speaking Podcast has finally arrived. It is the place in space and time when Jared and Joseph get to discuss young people performing athletic marvels on college basketball hardwoods throughout the country without getting paid! Rejoice! The guys don't start with college basketball, however. Instead, they focus their attention on the NFL. The Seahawks did great things against the Patriots. Does it mean anything? Dallas upends Pittsburgh. Tony Romo may never see the light of day again. What in the Sam Cassell is going on with the Green Bay Packers? Bad Tweets returns his week. If you want to end up on this segment, a good way to do that is to call anyone "the poor man's" anyone else and/or bring up conspiracy theories concerning leagues wanting to force owners out of the sport. Then, finally, a college basketball preview (kind of)! Luke Kennard is the Marty Jannetty to Grayson Allen's HBK. Thomas Bryant is pretty dang good at the shooty hoops. The much hyped Dennis Smith Jr. isn't playing all too well to start his career. Washington has a great freshman. He's worth your time. The show is capped off with Absurd Questions. This week, as it is every other week, gets the guys totally off the rails. Something about being an inanimate object and dating Christina Ricci. You can follow Jared on the mean streets of Twitter @JMintzHoops. If you want less articulate thoughts, or see a man unravel in real-time, follow the other host @JosephNardone.
