An English girl puts on a backpack and heads to New Zealand and Australia, sound familiar?

In this case it turned out that destiny had something else in store for one time Milton Keynes based Kate Baker.

As events unfolded she would end up calling Australia home as love and life took a different route for her than she originally planned.

Now based in Brisbane, Australia, Kate has demonstrated in a short period of time her talent and potential in the sport of Standup Paddle Boarding.

Kate shares with us how this relatively new sport is fast becoming a very popular water sport across the world for both men and women.

Kate has ranked highly in recent competitions across the world, and she is itching like everyone, for Covid 19 to vanish so that she can once again travel internationally, and to improve her rankings, and experience at a global level.
