Revolutionizing Sports Sponsorship with Ishveen Anand

Published: July 18, 2017, 9 a.m.

Ishveen Anand started her career as a sports agent, brokering sports sponsorship agreements in India where she used the economics and management degrees she obtained from Oxford as her primary tools. She is credited for getting Bridgestone’s first cricket deal in India.

In 2014, Ishveen decided to go out on her own and start OpenSponsorship, the #1 online marketplace that aims to connect brands to athletes, teams, and events. Ishveen is listed under Forbes’ 2015 30 Under 30, where she is the only female on the list and ranked #2 behind James Harden of the Houston Rockets. Today, her company has over 2000 athletes, 900 brands, and is spread over 40 countries.
