In episode 5, I'm joined by the host of TSN's Digital Sportscentre and Esports connoisseur, Marissa Roberto. Having hosted a wide range of Esports events throughout her career, Marissa has seen firsthand how much the sport has grown and what it takes to succeed in it. Her passion for sports and video games led her to hosting her own gaming segment at BarDown and appearing in a handful of the iconic quizzes, all while hosting Digital Sportscentre every weekday. Today, she is continuing her work in Esports throughout the pandemic while creating a wide variety of content at TSN. During our conversation, we chat about her mindset on and off camera, her experiences with mental health while being a host, as well as Esports as a whole and where it's headed next.
