"Self Esteem in Unique Hockey Markets" with Perry D'Arrisso (Clarkson Golden Knights Alumni)
In episode 4, I'm pleased to be joined by Clarkson University alumni and former Division 1 athlete, Perry D'Arrisso. Over the course of his long hockey career, Perry has made stops in Ontario, Texas, New York, and France, suiting up for a number of teams during that span. With his playing days coming to a close due to the current pandemic, Perry is currently transitioning into coaching, combining his passion for hockey with his passion for teaching. During our conversation, Perry provides some much needed perspective on playing in lower-tier markets, shares some of his motivations behind his hockey journey, and discusses his battle with self esteem and identity both on and off the ice.
